What’s up this relentless hot and cold feeling? I want to know does anyone struggle with over all temperature regulation? I’m not talking about hot flashes, I get those too. I’m talking about being cold at 70 ferinheight and being hot at 75. I live in a tropical climate. Most days are 80 plus degrees and the humidity can be oppressive. I’m drenched in sweat. I'm currently working from home with a fan pointed directly at my crotch and another on my face. As soon as I have to get up and do the simplest of tasks, I become hot again. Pulsatilla; is helpful for feeling anxious or feeling warn in a stuffy room. Lachesis mutus may also be helpful for the sensation of needing air or wanting a fan on the face.

Feeling hot and cold; research has shown that when estrogen levels drop, it affects a part of the brain called the hypothalamic preoptic area, that controls body temperature. This area, starts to misread your body’s signals, which can make you feel hot or cold at the wrong times. Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, 2022.
Endotoxins—specifically lipopolysaccharides (LPS), which are produced by certain gut bacteria.
