The Lymphatic System

I mentioned our lymphatic system. This system runs though out our body and does not have its own pump system like our cardiovascular system does. The only way it can move is for us to move. It needs our body to be upright and using gravity and our own energetic system to move things along. Our lymphatic system carries nutrients to our cells and carries our metabolic waste to our colon for removal. In order for this to happen, we need to move. This is, is how we can spring clean every day. Get moving!

The Glympathic System

Our sleep cycle also allows for the The glymphatic system which is a macroscopic waste clearance system that promotes efficient elimination of soluble proteins and metabolites from the central nervous system. The glymphatic system helps distribute nutrients— such as glucose, lipids, amino acids, and neurotransmitters related to volume transmission, in the brain—this system also palys a pitvvial role in the elimination of neurotoxic waste products,— including β-amyloid. When B-amyloid is able to create plaque in the brain, it leads to dementia and Alzheimers.

The GI MAP

The GI MAP is a comprehensive stool test that also includes the Fecal Elastase-1 I talked about in the podcast. This is my favourite test!
