The best food I've ever eaten is what I've grown here on the property. Matter fact just pulled two more fresh tomatoes off yesterday and yes, the green smell from the vine and the taste well it's beyond mouthwatering!
Same thing goes for squash, beans, greens, onions, herbs, etc., etc.
I know the soil we don't use any toxic sprays at all.
walking out and cutting the lettuce and picking your tomato and grabbing your onions to make your fresh salad and of course you can add squash or whatever a vegetable you'd like with that is so lovely to do and it's not just the time it saves or anything like that because it takes work to grow food, but the freshness is undeniable the nutritional value you can tell the difference and so can your body.
Oh, did I mention our huge fig trees or muscadine's and those blueberries? They're small bushes because they're young to walk out and grab a small handful of blueberries as I'm watering. It's such a treat. The birds like the blueberries and we do have a lot of trees around there and so sometimes they get a little feast themselves even though I can cover them with the caged wires they always find a way to get in. They know they're delicious too! 😉
The last few years have been more difficult than ever because of the spraying overhead, but in Florida, we have a bill that goes into effect. I believe it's June 1 that no more spring can be done over the state of Florida there will be legal fines, the bottom line though is, it's the government that's doing it so they're gonna have to fine the local military because those are the planes that are doing it. I've seen it firsthand with my high-powered binoculars. I don't know how that's gonna work out. I've seen it with my high-powered binoculars.
Thank you @Betty Boldbrew for the restack.
