Enjoy Your Monday
And reflect
Hello Sagers,
I am not writing anything this week. Well, except for this. I was going to write about the Little Rascals..remember them? If you do, you are well through menopause. I write about a specific episode in my book. I will share that with you all next week.
This past week was hellish. We made it by Jeep to Portland following our towed coach. I did not see anything just worked on my book. Except for our daily walks downtown. Then we made it to the Tricities Washington by Jeep. Coach is still in Portland at the Cummins. The experience is both fascinating and heart wrenching at the same the time.
I am leaving my hubby and Zazu in the Tricities and making my way back to Othello to clean out my other coach on concrete and heading back to the Tricities then Portland some time this week when our coach is repaired. This one is a little tough, as I am now cleaning up and donating Jagsters toys and bedding. The final grieving moment.
To my American friends, Happy Memorial Day. Today, I honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. I shall take a moment at 3pm to reflect upon this since I do not have a grave to grace flowers with. And to the families who have given so much, thank you. Your strength and loss are deeply felt, and your loved ones’ legacy lives on in the freedom we cherish. Thank you.
To my Canadian and Scottish family and friends, Happy Victoria Day long weekend aka: May Two-Four weekend (Happy Birthday, Queen Victoria!).
To you all, enjoy and stay safe. See you next week!
~Karen
